LED Light Therapy in Harrow
LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to treat skin conditions from acne to ageing. It's completely non-invasive, painless, and there's zero downtime. At our Harrow clinic, we use it both as a standalone treatment and as an add-on to other facials.

What is led light therapy?
Different colours (wavelengths) of LED light penetrate the skin to different depths and trigger different biological responses. Red light stimulates collagen production and healing. Blue light kills acne-causing bacteria. Near-infrared light reduces inflammation.
Benefits
Red light: reduced fine lines, improved skin texture, accelerated healing. Blue light: clearer skin, fewer breakouts, reduced bacteria. Near-infrared: reduced inflammation and redness, faster recovery after other treatments.
Who is it for?
Anyone. LED therapy is suitable for all skin types with no contraindications for most people. It's especially good for acne, rosacea, post-treatment healing, and anti-ageing. It's completely painless and relaxing.
What to expect
After cleansing, we position the LED device over your face. You relax for 15 to 20 minutes while the light does its work. We finish with a serum and SPF. The treatment takes about 30 minutes in total.
Aftercare
None. You can apply makeup immediately. LED therapy is often called a "lunchtime treatment" because you can go straight back to your day.
LED Light Therapy FAQ
How many LED sessions do I need?+
For best results, a course of 6 to 10 sessions, two to three times per week, is recommended. After that, monthly maintenance sessions keep results going.
Can I add LED to other treatments?+
Yes, and we often recommend it. LED pairs brilliantly with microneedling, facials, and peels to accelerate healing and boost results.
Is LED light therapy the same as a sunbed?+
Absolutely not. LED therapy uses specific, targeted wavelengths and contains no UV light. It has no tanning or burning risk.
